Are there times when you question why you went into business for yourself? Are there times when people ask you why you went into business for yourself? And what you want to say is “because I’ve lost my mind!”
You may have been thinking about all the free time you would have and how much more money you could potentially make now that you are your own boss. Or maybe you belonged to a corporation whose win-at-all-costs attitude was not in-tune with your personal work philosophy.
Whatever reason for starting and building your own business, you probably did not consider the ripple effect your business causes on the world – starting with your clients.
“Just as ripples spread out when a single pebble is dropped into water, the actions of individuals can have far-reaching effects.” ~ Dalai Lama
There are many entrepreneurs who go into business because they had a bigger calling. They quit their jobs because they wanted to touch lives with the goods and services that they offer. They had a vision that not only involved success in profits but an achievement in making a positive contribution to the day-to-day life of their client.
Would you like to make money? Would you like to be profitable? That’s what happens when you enter the success vortex provided by mentoring programs. Did you know that your profits are directly related to the number of clients you serve? So, in order for you to make money, you must think “how can I help more people get what they want?”
As of right now, there are a huge number of potential clients restless, stressed out, overwhelmed as a result of their problems, challenges, and issues. What you have to offer holds the key to their satisfaction, peace of mind, security and well-being. It is your job – not theirs – to do your best marketing, getting the word out and helping them find you.
Get this, by you helping them it leaves such an impression on them that they won’t stop talking about it. They’ll ask for more, and they will want to share it with their friends. By offering quality products and services that you are in control of, you have the opportunity to make a contribution to people’s lives.
You not only touch your clients’ lives, you also influence the individuals in their life.
When your clients feel good about themselves they carry that boost in confidence and smile on your face all day. Everyone they meet benefits from their warm greeting and their infectious good attitude. And every person they bring joy to could have a favorable effect on the people they encounter.
Gifting your clients with positivity has a ripple effect that can be felt endless ways and across countless lives. It may have, at one point, even circled right back to you and you didn’t even realize it.
However, remember that it doesn’t happen by chance in business or by simply having a giving attitude. You need to take conscious and deliberate marketing steps to bring attention to your business. Be visible on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. Create a reputation for yourself that is attractive but authentic.
Be where the people whose lives you want to impact are. By being where your ideal audience is, you have the chance to touch their lives in a positive way on a platform where they are at ease and welcoming to interaction.
People are waiting for you to show up, be purposeful and genuine with your actions. It’s a win-win when connections are valuable for both parties. Are you ready to make a massive positive contribution and make the world a better place one client at the time?
